GREENVILLE, S.C. - Furman quarterback
Tyler Huff has been named to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) 2022 FCS National Performer of the Year Watch List, it was announced today.
The CFPA FCS National Performer of the Year trophy is a 22-inch K-9 optic crystal tower sporting an eight-inch crystal ball on top. The winner will be announced on Jan. 13, 2023.

Huff, a graduate transfer from Presbyterian (S.C.) College, fashioned a successful starting debut for the Paladins last week, completing 10-of-12 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns in Furman's 52-0 shutout victory over North Greenville. The Orange Park, Fla., product also rushed five times for a game high 94 yards, including a career long 56-yard scoring run, to help the Paladins race to a 45-0 halftime lead. Huff did not play in the second half as Furman rolled to the victory and notched its first shutout at home since 2003.
Huff saw action in 22 games and made 12 starts over three seasons at PC, passing for 2,560 yards and 21 touchdowns. He earned his undergraduate degree in business administration with a concentration in business analytics prior to coming to Furman, where he is currently enrolled in the university's Master of Arts in Strategic Design program.
Furman plays FBS fourth-ranked Clemson this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in an ACC Network-televised contest.
