GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman indoor track and field teams will compete at Clemson's Bob Pollock Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex in Clemson, S.C.

Live results will be available at https://results.adkinstrak.com/meets/19422 and both days of the meet will be streamed on the ACC Network.

On Friday, Furman events begin with the men's 60m dash at 1:35 p.m.  The Paladin men will compete in the 60m dash, 400m, mile, and 60m hurdles on Friday, while the women will run in the 400m and mile on the first day of competition.

Saturday's events feature the men's 200m, 800m, 3,000m, and triple jump, and the women's 200m, 800m, and 3,000m.

The Paladins opened the indoor season last weekend at the Carolina Challenge in Columbia, S.C.  Sophomore Matthew Smith set a program record in the 800m with a time of 1:49.83, breaking the former record of 1:50.77, set by Ryan Adams in 2016, by almost two seconds.  Smith's time ranks first in the SoCon this season and is tied for 22nd on the NCAA Division I Indoor Qualifying List.  Junior Megan Marvin won the women's invitational 800m with a season-leading time of 2:05.7, which ties for fifth on the NCAA qualifying list.  Smith and Marvin were honored as the SoCon Indoor Track Athletes of the Week for their performances.
