Greenville, S.C. – Furman makes its final non-conference road trip on Thursday when the Paladins visit Fogelman Arena in New Orleans, La., to take on the Tulane Green Wave at 7 p.m. EST.

The Paladins enter their matchup versus Tulane at 5-5 on the season following a 100-58 victory over the Bob Jones Bruins on Saturday afternoon at Timmons Arena.
Alex Williams, the Southern Conference Player of the Week, poured in a career-high 31 points and fellow junior
JP Pegues added 21 points and 12 assists to power the Paladins to their ninth consecutive win inside Timmons. Furman finished the game with a season-high 33 assists as Pegues (12 ast.) and
Carter Whitt (10 ast.) became the first Paladin teammates to register double digit assists in the same game.
Furman is averaging 84.1 points per game this season. Redshirt-senior
Marcus Foster, who leads the Paladins averaging 19.8 points per game, suffered a knee injury on December 2 at Princeton and is sidelined indefinitely. Pegues ranks fifth in the league in scoring at 16.9 points per game while ranking second in the SoCon dishing out 6.2 assists per game. Williams has contributed 16 points per game and shot 43.9% behind the arc.
Thursday's game marks the first meeting between the Paladins and Green Wave. Tulane, a member of the American Athletic Conference, is 6-2 on the season after dropping a 106-76 decision versus Mississippi State on Saturday. The road trip to Tulane marks a homecoming of sorts for Furman head coach
Bob Richey. The seventh-year head coach was born in New Orleans, La., when his father was in medical school at Tulane.
Following Thursday's game, Furman concludes the calendar year and non-conference schedule with home tilts versus Presbyterian (Dec. 19) and Anderson (Dec. 30).
