GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman will travel to Lynchburg, Va., Friday to take on Liberty at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Tennis Complex before returning home to entertain No. 39 Charlotte Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C.
The Paladins enter Friday's match at 6-10 overall and 3-0 in Southern Conference play after beating Wofford, 5-2, on Wednesday. Furman's number one doubles team of Jess Dawson and Sara Snyder ranks 59th nationally.
Liberty is 13-6 overall and 4-1 in the Atlantic Sun. On Wednesday, the Flames defeated Queens, 6-1, in Lynchburg.
Friday's match marks the fourth meeting between Furman and Liberty, with the Paladins holding a 3-0 series advantage. The teams last met in 2017, when Furman posted a 4-3 victory over the Flames in Greenville.
Charlotte holds a 16-5 overall record and will entertain ETSU Friday before traveling to Greenville on Sunday. The 49ers beat both Presbyterian, 7-0, and Long Island University, 6-1, last Friday.
Furman is 26-0 versus Charlotte after defeating the 49ers, 4-2, last season in Charlotte.
