GREENVILLE, S.C. — Furman University Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Jason Donnelly announced today the postponed Sept. 28 football home game between Furman and Samford has been officially canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The contest was postponed due to the devastating impact Hurricane Helene wrought on the Upstate and surrounding region.
In announcing the cancelation, Furman also detailed three options for fans holding tickets to the contest.
Ticket holders may choose to donate their purchase to the Paladin football program, convert their purchase into a credit for the 2025 football season, or request a refund for their purchase using the form below. The submission deadline is Friday, Dec. 20.
