VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Furman freshman Ava Hanneman (+4) and sophomore Audrey Ryu (+4) tied for 13th Saturday to lead the Paladins in the final day of Old Dominion's fifth annual Evie Odom Invitational, which was held at the par 70, 5,824 yard Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va.

Hanneman, a native of Orono, Minn., teed off on No. 10 and birdied No. 13 to turn at -over par.  She then added birdies on No. 6 and No. 8 to finish with an even 70 in the final round.  Ryu, who hails from Dublin, Ohio, posted consecutive birdies on No. 13 and No. 14 and added a final birdie on No. 7 to conclude Saturday's round with a 71.  

Freshman Olivia Hasselbach (+7) and sophomore Andrea Marin Raga (+9) each fired a 1-under 69 to pace the Paladins in round three.  Hasselbach notched four birdies, including back to back birdies on No. 5 and No. 6, to tie for 22nd, while Marin Raga, who played as an individual, also tallied four birdies, tying for 31st.

Sophomore Jenna Madden (+20) carded a 74 to finish 62nd, and sophomore Eva Ringwald (+24) added a 78 with a team-high five birdies, to tie for 65th.

South Alabama's Daniela Palmeros (-4) won individual medalist honors with scores of 71-68-67=206.

Maryland (+14) and Penn State (+14) tied for the team championship, finishing five strokes ahead of Georgia (+19).  South Alabama (+24) placed fourth, followed by North Florida (+25) in fifth.  Coastal Carolina (+27) was sixth, followed by the Paladins (+35) in seventh place.  Furman beat out SoCon foe UNCG (+24 - T9th) by seven strokes. 

The Paladins will conclude the 2025 fall season at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C., Oct. 24-26.
