No. 16 Paladins Set To Entertain Blue Hose In Tuesday Non-Conference Clash

Kickoff Slated For 6 P.M. On Seagraves Field At Stone Soccer Stadium

Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team returns to Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium Tuesday evening for a non-conference clash versus the Presbyterian Blue Hose.
 
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and admission to the match is free. Fans can follow live statistics from the contest through StatBroadcast at FurmanPaladins.com.
 
Furman enters the match ranked No. 16 in this week's Top Drawer Soccer Top 25 and No. 25 in both the latest College Soccer News and United Soccer Coaches rankings. The Paladins earned a 1-1 draw in their Southern Conference opener at Mercer on Saturday night to move to 6-1-4 overall and 0-0-1 in league play.
 
The Blue Hose are 4-4-3 on the season and 1-2-0 in the Big South following Friday night's 2-0 triumph over USC Upstate. Tuesday's match marks the 22nd meeting between the schools with Furman holding a 15-4-2 series lead. In the most recent meeting on October 15, 2024, the Paladins claimed a 2-0 victory in Clinton, S.C., with Lloyd Wamu Snell netting the match-winning goal.
 
Following Tuesday's non-conference match, Furman steps back into SoCon play Saturday evening when it hosts ETSU for Senior Night at Stone Stadium.
