Greenville, S.C. – Furman men's basketball goes for its third straight home victory on Sunday when it hosts the Queens Royals in the ASUN/SoCon Challenge at Timmons Arena.
Sunday's game, which will follow a 2 p.m. showdown between the Furman women's team and Clemson, is set for a 5 p.m. tip-off and tickets can be purchased at

The Paladins improved to 2-3 on the season with a 79-44 home victory over Ohio Christian on Wednesday night at Timmons Arena. Redshirt-sophomore
Asa Thomas paced the Paladins in his first collegiate start with a career-high 22 points. He also added career-bests with seven rebounds and three assists. Furman's offense came to life in the second half, hitting six of its first seven shots, while the Paladins outscored the Trailblazers 46-12 in the paint and managed a 53-23 rebounding advantage.
Queens evened its record at 3-3 with a 101-94 win over Southern Conference foe UNC Greensboro on Thursday night in Charlotte, N.C. Chris Ashby led five Royals in double figures with 18 points.
Sunday's game marks the first meeting on the hardwood between Furman and Queens. Furman sports a 60-9 record at Timmons Arena since the start of the 2019-20 season and has won 39 of its last 43 regular season games versus non-conference opposition in Timmons.
Following Sunday's home tilt, Furman travels to Kissimmee, Fla., to take part in the Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational on November 27-28 at State Farm Field House. The Paladins face Richmond in the opening game in the Imagination Bracket on Thanksgiving at 11:00 a.m. on ESPN2. On Friday, Furman will play either Charlotte or Illinois State with the consolation contest slated for 12:30 p.m. on ESPN+ and the championship game scheduled for 3 p.m. on ESPN2.
