GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The 50th-ranked Furman women's tennis team will entertain Yale Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C.

The Paladins improved to 10-2 overall and are 2-0 in SoCon play after defeating Belmont, 7-0, and Austin Peay State, 5-2, during the team's spring break trip to Tennessee. Â
Furman seniors Sara Snyder and Ellie Schulson rank 78th nationally in doubles. The Furman duo boasts an 11-3 record, including a 9-3 mark in spring dual matches at flight one. Earlier in the season, Snyder and Schulson teamed up for a 6-0 victory over Alabama and a 6-3 win at Wake Forest. Â
Yale is 9-3 overall and is ranked 34th in this week's national poll after defeating Temple, 4-0, on Saturday. The Bulldogs put together a seven-match winning streak in February with key victories over Boston University, Penn State, Penn, and Rutgers. Yale is led by Orly Ogilvy, who currently ranks 89th nationally in singles. The Bulldogs won last year's meeting against Furman, 4-1, when the teams squared off in the Blue Gray Tournament in Montgomery, Ala. Yale leads the all-time series, 3-1.
