TUCSON, Ariz. -- Sophomore Audrey Ryu (-1) fired an opening round 71 to tie for 15th Sunday in the first day of the MountainView Collegiate, which is being hosted by Kansas State and Missouri at the par 72, 6,345 yard The Preserve Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.

A native of Dublin, Ohio, Ryu birdied four out of five holes from No. 8 through No. 12 and added the last of her team-high five birdies on No. 17 to finish at 1-under, three strokes back of Oklahoma's Audrey Rischer (-4), who led the field with a 68 on Sunday. 

Freshman Jenna Madden (+2) is tied for 36th after recording a 74 with birdies on No. 3 and No. 9, while sophomore Kelsi Mauzy (+4) carded a 76 with three birdies to tie for 38th.  Senior Alise Knudson (+5) tallied a 77 to tie for 66th, and freshman Eva Ringwald (+9) shot an81 to tie for 75th.  

No. 34 Oklahoma (-6) leads 13th-ranked TCU (-5) by one stroke entering Monday's second round.  Cincinnati (+1) sits in third, followed by six teams that are tied for fourth at 2-over.  The Paladins (+10) rank 13th after 18 holes.  

The 54-hole tournament continues Monday beginning at 10 a.m. ET.  The Paladins will tee off  on No. 10 starting at 10 a.m. and will play in a group with Miami and Nebraska.  Tuesday's final round will feature a 10:15 a.m. ET shotgun start.
