Furman Softball Welcomes Chattanooga To Pepsi Stadium This Weekend

Doubleheader Slated For 1 P.M. Saturday, Series Finale Set For 1 P.M. On Sunday

Greenville, S.C. – Furman concludes its seven-game homestand when the Paladins welcome the Chattanooga Mocs to Pepsi Stadium for a three-game Southern Conference series this weekend.

The Paladins and Mocs begin their series with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday. Furman will celebrate Little League Day on Sunday when they face Chattanooga in the series finale at 1 p.m. Admission is free to all games at Pepsi Stadium.

Furman, looking to snap a four-game skid, enters the series at 13-26 overall and 3-6 in SoCon play. UNC Greensboro swept a three-game set from the Paladins last weekend before Furman dropped a 7-6 decision to Queens in midweek action on Wednesday.

The Mocs arrive in Greenville at 26-11 overall and 5-3 in the SoCon after losing two-of-three games versus Western Carolina last weekend. The Furman-Chattanooga series is the most played in SoCon history with the teams having met on the diamond 112 times. Chattanooga holds an 84-28 series lead and has won the last seven meetings.

All three games this weekend will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live statistics available through StatBroadcast. Links for both can be found at FurmanPaladins.com.
