2024-25 SoCon Academic Honor Roll
GREENVILLE, S.C. – A total of 275 Furman student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll, which was released on Wednesday by the league office.
Furman's 275 selections represent the 18 intercollegiate sports offered by the university in 2024-25.
The academic honor roll originated in 1988-89, when SoCon athletic directors established the award to recognize the league's outstanding student-athletes. The academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in varsity sports and posted a 3.0 grade point average or higher for the academic year, were eligible the entire academic year, and were members of the final squad lists.
Thirty-four Paladins garnered perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the 2024-25 school year:

Eighty-five Furman student-athletes received the SoCon Commissioner's Medal, which were accorded to student-athletes sporting GPAs of 3.8 or better.
The SoCon had a total of 2,734 selections, the highest in conference history, to the Academic Honor Roll. Of this year's qualifiers, 846 earned the Commissioner's Medal, awarded to student-athletes who attain a GPA of 3.8 or higher throughout the year, and 288 posted perfect 4.0 GPAs.
