GREENVILLE, S.C. – Tyler Baker and
Reagan Zabatta have joined the Furman athletics department, it was announced on Thursday.
Baker will serve as the Taymar ticket sales and operations manager while Zabatta is the new director of compliance.
Baker arrives in Greenville after working with the UFL's Birmingham Stallions as the senior ticket sales experience AE for the past five months. While with the Stallions, he generated over $50,000 in new ticket revenue within a four-month period and developed and launched a youth engagement program allowing youth groups and schools to participate in on-field halftime activities.
"We are excited for Tyler to join our team in Greenville," stated Alexis Campanella, Taymar Senior Vice President. "With his experience in the MiLB, USL, and most recently the UFL with the Birmingham Stallions, we can't wait to watch him bring his expertise to Furman to provide a top notch gameday experience to Paladin fans."
He spent nearly a year as the director of ticket sales for the New England Knockouts and the director of group sales for the Birmingham Barons for six months. Baker developed and managed the ticketing software for both the Knockouts and Brockton Rox and was responsible for the creation and implantation of season ticket holder benefits and the Field of Dreams program. During his time with the Barons, he was responsible for conducting weekly department meetings and chamber meeting appearances with the front office staff. He also revamped any outdated flyers, guides, and letters for the department, as well as updating the team's website and the distribution of all inbound leads.
Baker earned his associates of science degree in communications from Jefferson State Community College in 2019 and then received his bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from Alabama in 2022.
Zabatta comes to Furman from Florida State, where she served as a compliance intern in 2025. In her role at Furman, Zabatta will oversee student-athlete amateurism, recruiting, eligibility, and playing and practice seasons, as well as lead rules education efforts for coaches, student-athletes, and staff.
"We are thrilled to welcome Reagan to our department and the Furman family," said
Tyler Rosenberger, Furman Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Academic Services. "She developed outstanding knowledge and experience in compliance during her time at Florida State, which was evident throughout the interview process. I am excited for the energy and value she will bring to our coaches, student-athletes, and the entire athletic department."
She joined Florida State this past January as a compliance intern where her duties included completing initial eligibility evaluations for prospective student-athletes. Zabatta oversaw charitable donation request form approvals, logged player participation and seasons used for record keeping purposes, and submitted medical hardship waivers to the Atlantic Coast Conference. She also created infographics for rules education.
Zabatta has held various roles as an intern for the soccer and softball programs at Florida State, was a volunteer for both the SEC Championship Fanfare and Florida State Athletics Information Technology office, and worked on the gameday staff for the football program.
She earned her bachelor of science degree in sports management from Florida State in 2024 and then received her master of science in sports management in 2025.
