Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's basketball game against Chattanooga is scheduled to be played on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST. The game will air on national TV on ESPN2.
Furman University is currently closed to the public and driving on campus is not permissible due to conditions from the winter storm. This will impact attendance for ticket holders for Sunday's game.
At the present time, Timmons Arena will be closed to the public on Sunday and access will be limited to students and employees who are able to safely attend the game as services inside and outside the venue will be limited. Ticket holders will be issued a refund or credit that will be communicated by the ticket office.
Further decisions regarding access to campus will be communicated this evening once a full assessment of the winter storm has been completed. Decisions regarding university operations during inclement weather are made following careful consideration with the safety and well-being of our students, employees, and ticket holders as the top priority.
We will continue to provide updates on the status of the game throughout the day and again tomorrow morning.
