GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's golf team will open the 2026 spring season at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic, which will be held Sunday through Tuesday at the par 72, 6,305 yard Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
The Paladins' lineup includes junior Audrey Ryu, sophomore Jenna Madden, freshmen Ava Hanneman and Olivia Hasselbach, and sophomore Andrea Marin Raga.
Furman will be joined in the 18-team field by host Purdue, fourth-ranked Arkansas, Georgia Southern, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, LSU, Minnesota, Michigan State, Michigan, 14th-ranked North Carolina, North Florida, North Texas, 20th-ranked Northwestern, No. 15 Ole Miss, UNC Wilmington, and tenth-ranked Vanderbilt.
Due to predicted inclement weather on Monday, the tournament will begin at 6:30 a.m. ET Sunday, with teams attempting to complete 36 holes on day one. The final round will be played on Monday beginning at 7:30 a.m., weather permitting, with the tournament concluding on Tuesday if needed, and if the course is playable. Â
Furman will tee off on No. 12 through No. 15 on Sunday and will play in a group with Minnesota, UNC Wilmington, and Iowa in the first two rounds.Â

Furman tied for third at the Lady Paladin Invitational in the fall. Ryu turned in her second-consecutive top-11 finish of the fall, tying for 11th with scores of 71-72-70=213 to finish at 3-under par. Earlier in the season, she carded rounds of 68-70-71 to finish at 4-under par and tie for seventh at the Cougar Classic. In October, Ryu and Hanneman tied for 13th with a three-round total of 214 (+4) at the Evie Odom Invitational.
