Greenville, S.C. – Furman's men's soccer match versus UNC Greensboro, originally scheduled for October 3, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 27, at 6 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C., it was announced on Monday morning by the Southern Conference.
With the Furman-UNCG match moving to October 27, the Paladins' road trip to Winthrop, scheduled for the same day, has been canceled.
Furman (3-2-4) returns to action tomorrow night with a non-conference road trip to College of Charleston (6-2-2). Kickoff on Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point is slated for 6 p.m. and the match will be streamed for a subscription fee on FloSports. Tuesday night's match marks the 40
th meeting between the Paladins and Cougars with Furman holding a 21-12-6 series lead. Charleston scored off a free kick to shock the No. 3 Paladins, 1-0, in last season's meeting in Greenville. Furman scored a 4-2 win over No. 23 CofC in its last trip to Ralph Lundy Field during the 2024 campaign.
Following Tuesday's non-conference test, the Paladins return to Stone Stadium to host VMI on Saturday, October 10, in the annual Quinn Game.
