GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman women's lacrosse team plays four of its next five games at home beginning Monday hosting former Big South foe Campbell in non-conference action at 6 p.m. from Paladin Stadium.

The Paladins (2-1) picked up their first road win of the season this past Wednesday with a 14-10 victory at Queens (N.C.). Furman concluded the contest holding a 17-9 advantage in draws while tallying 30 shots and 13 ground balls.
Shae Insinga paced the Paladin offense with four goals while
Caroline Smith and
Lily Mosser both scored three.
Skylar Hilmer won six draws and caused a team high two turnovers.
Lilly Dyer and
Avery Adeli each picked up two ground balls. Making her first collegiate start,
Sam Melville finished with a career high 14 saves in goal, tied for fourth-most in a game in school history, and added two ground balls.
Campbell enters the contest on a five-game winning streak and currently sits at 5-1 on the season. The Camels are coming off a 13-9 road victory over Charlotte on Wednesday. Campbell is under the direction of 13
th-year head coach Dawn Easley.
Furman is facing the Camels for the ninth time in program history and hold a 5-3 advantage in the all-time series. The teams last met twice in 2023 with Campbell winning both matchups. The last meeting saw the Camels defeat the Paladins, 18-8, in the semifinals of the Big South Women's Lacrosse Championship in Macon, Ga. Furman is seeking its first win over Campbell since 2022 when it earned a 16-15 overtime victory in Buies Creek, N.C.
The Paladins remain in Greenville Wednesday evening to host St. Bonaventure at 5 p.m.
