Furman Runners Post Personal Bests At Duke Twilight

DURHAM, N.C. -- Sophomores Claire Cook and Nysa Males posted personal bests to lead the Furman track and field teams in Sunday's Duke Twilight at Morris Williams Stadium in Durham, N.C. 

Cook, a native of Austin, Texas, won her heat and placed eight overall in the 800m with a PR of 2:04.95, while Males, who hails from Melbourne, Australia, posted a PR of 4:22.18 to take 20th place in the 1,500m.

On the men's side, junior Brayden Seymour turned in a tenth-place finish in the 1,500m after crossing the line in 3:41.85.

Furman will compete at the Southern Conference Championship May 11-12 in Cullowhee, N.C.
