Greenville, S.C. -- Furman placed four athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District Team, as announced today by the CSC Academic All-America Committee.
Claire Cook,
Jais Ward, and
Camryn Wennersten received the honor for the women's team, while
Albert Velikonja earned a citation on the men's side.

Nominations and voting for the CSC Academic All-America programs are conducted by members of the College Sports Communicators, formerly College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
CSC Academic All-District Team selections were required to have posted a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have placed among the top 50 in the TFRRS regional performance rankings in a single event for cross country, indoor, or outdoor track and field. Schools could nominate a maximum of six female and six male athletes for track and field/cross country.
