2026 Furman Preseason Information

GREENVILLE, S.C. --- The Southern Conference kicks off the football preseason with its 2026 Football Media Day on Tuesday at Greenville's Hotel Hartness.

Furman head coach Clay Hendrix will be joined by Paladin center Chris Luna and All-America defensive end Joshua Stoneking, along with other league head coaches and players, in meeting the media and previewing the upcoming season.
 
The preseason coaches poll will be announced on Tuesday, along with the league's preseason all-conference team, as selected by the coaches.  

Hendrix, who is entering his 10th season at the helm of Furman's program, is set to welcome 32 lettemen and 14 starters from last season.

The Paladins report for preseason camp on Tuesday, July 28, and begin practice on Wednesday, July 29.

Furman kicks off its 2026 season on Thursday, August 27, when it entertains Anderson in a 7:00 p.m. contest at Paladin Stadium.
