Greenville, S.C. – Furman scored three goals in the first hour to cruise past North Greenville, 3-0, in the Paladins' home opener Tuesday evening on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium.

Bri Pinasco opened the scoring in the 24
th minute from a tight angle on the left side of the box before junior
Riley O'Bryan finished off a pass from
Hayden Barnett on a 34
th minute counter-attack to double the Paladin lead. Barnett capped the scoring at 59:44 with her first goal as a Paladins on an assist from freshman
Sierra Davis.
"It feels great to get the first win under our belts," said Paladin head coach
Andrew Burr. "We had great support tonight, were able to play every available player, got the shutout, and three different players scored for us. That's the way we'd like to play every night!"
Furman dominated with nearly 70% of the possession and outshot the Trailblazers 32-2 on the night. The Paladins compiled an 18-0 margin in shots on goal and all three goalkeepers saw action in the home opener.
Cadie Pendergrass led NGU with 14 saves in goal.
