Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team opens its 2026 home schedule and honors its 2025 NCAA College Cup team on Monday night when it hosts UNC Asheville for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium.
Approximately 15 minutes prior to kickoff, Furman will unveil its 2025 NCAA College Cup banner and honor former head coach Doug Allison and last season's squad that made a historic run to a 16-2-5 record, Southern Conference regular season and tournament titles, the school's first college cup appearance, and a final No. 3 national ranking. Admission is free and fans are encouraged to be in their seats early for the pregame celebration.
The third-ranked Paladins (0-1-0) are in search of their first win of the season after dropping a 5-1 decision at Clemson on Thursday night in the regular season opener. UNCA arrives in Greenville at 1-0-0 following a 1-0 win over Northern Kentucky on Thursday.
Monday's match marks the 25
th all-time meeting between Furman and UNC Asheville with the Paladins holding an unbeaten 20-0-4 record versus the Bulldogs. In last season's meeting in Asheville, N.C.,

Wilfer Bustamante netted goals to lift the Paladins to a 2-1 victory over UNCA at Greenwood Field.
