GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman head football coach Clay Hendrix has announced the hiring of Philip Duke as the program's new director of operations.

Duke graduated from Furman in December of 2025 with a degree in applied mathematics.

As a undergraduate he served a student assistant coach with Furman's offensive line from the spring of 2025 the fall season.  That followed a one-year stint as an assistant director of operations with Furman's men's basketball program.  He worked the 2022 and '23 football seasons as a defensive assistant coach with the Paladins.

Duke, a Easley, S.C., native, also recorded brief coaching stints at Crescent High School in 2021 and Walhalla High School in 2020.
