2022 Southern Conference All-Freshman Team

2023 — Earned significant playing time in 11 of Furman’s 13 games as a backup to All-SoCon bandit Luke Clark...played a key role in Furman’s 10-3 season headlined by a SoCon championship and FCS quarterfinal round playoff appearance...squad was ranked sixth in the AFCA FCS final poll...part of a Paladin defense that topped the SoCon in virtually every statistical category, including, among others, scoring defense (18.2 ppg), rushing defense (96.9 ypg), total defense (316.0 ypg), and sacks (38), with the sacks tally ranking as second most in Furman history...credited with 24 tackles, including 5.5 for-loss, and three sacks..sat out the Paladins’ first two games against Tennessee Tech (45-13 win) and South Carolina...registered a season high four tackles, including a sack, in a 27-21 road victory over Samford...followed that up with sack in a 29-13 road triumph over FCS eighth-ranked Western Carolina...recorded three tackles and a fourth quarter interception, which he returned 12 yards to set up a field goal in the Paladins’ 26-7 FCS second round playoff victory over Chattanooga.

2022 — Emerged as solid performer in his second season in the program, seeing action in all 13 games as a backup to Luke Clark at the bandit position...named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team in balloting by head coaches...was part of Furman’s regular two-deep rotation along the defensive front...credited with 24 tackles, including 4.5 sacks that tied for the squad lead with backup nose guard Xavier Stephens...also had a fumble recovery and pass breakup... played a pivotal role in Furman’s 10-3 season that featured a stretch of seven consecutive wins and an at-large bid to the FCS playoffs, where the Paladins claimed a 31-6 first round home win over Elon...10 wins represented the most by Furman since 2005...team finished a consensus 10th in final AFCA and Stats Perform Polls...campaign was fueled with strong work by Furman’s defense, which led the FCS in turnovers gained (29)...helped the Paladins rank first in the SoCon in scoring (20.2 ppg) and red zone defense (71.7 percent, 28x39)...recorded sacks in both of Furman’s playoff games: vs. Elon and Incarnate Word...work againt Incarnate Word included a season high seven tackles...fumble recovery came against Wofford (63-28 win)...had three stops against FCS 6th-ranked Clemson.

2021 — Appeared in one game, recording a tackle in a 24-14 win over The Citadel...awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility.

High School:  2021 graduate of Fleming Island (7A) High School...football coach was Damenyum Springs...committed to Furman after entertaining offers from eight schools...spent three years at Clay High School before transferring to Fleming Island for his senior campaign...played middle linebacker and defensive end...earned all-county honors at defensive end in 2019...helped key Fleming Island to a 10-3 season included three playoff victories...racked up eight tackles, two forced fumbles, and scored two touchdowns (fumble recovery and 37-yard interception return) in a 21-0 first round playoff triumph over Tate...also competed in competitive cheer.
