2020 — Logged starts at strong safety in all seven games (spring of ‘21)...credited with 22 tackles and a pass breakup...had a season high five tackles versus Mercer and four each versus Samford (44-37 OT win), Chattanooga, and The Citadel.
2019 — Earned playing time in all 13 games and made 11 starts at strong safety...played a key role in leading Furman to an 8-5 record, at-large berth to the FCS playoffs, and No. 19 ranking in the AFCA Coaches final poll...squad topped the SoCon in scoring defense and passing defense...tallied 38 tackles, including 29 primary stops and nine assists...had one tackle for-loss, a forced fumble, two interceptions, and a pair of breakups...credited with a season high eight tackles and a forced fumble versus The Citadel...had six stops in a season opening, 46-13 win over Charleston Southern...interceptions came in back-to-back games: vs. Mercer (45-10 win) and East Tennessee State (17-10 win)....played a key role
2018 — Made the switch from cornerback to safety in the spring of 2018...earned playing time in all 10 games...credited with 11 tackles, including eight solo and three assists...had a pass deflection along with two tackles versus VMI (49-13 win)...also registered a pair of stops against Clemson and The Citadel (28-17 win).
2017 — Saw action in 12 of the Paladins’ 13 games and made his starting debut at cornerback with a season high seven tackles and two pass breakups against East Tennessee State (56-35 win)...had a pass deflection in season opener at Wofford and two weeks later registered five stops versus N.C. State...also contributed on special teams...made the switch to safety in 2018 spring practice.
High School: 2017 graduate of Grady (5A) High School...football coach was Earthwind Moreland...saw action at cornerback, running back, wide receiver, and also served as a return specialist...registered eight interceptions and scored 10 touchdowns...totaled 46 tackles, a region leading five interceptions, and scored five touchdowns as a senior in helping lead Grady to a 10-2 record, Region 6 championship, and two rounds into the state playoffs...earned first team all-region honors as a cornerback in 2016 in balloting by league coaches...had two interceptions in 57-30 win over Maynard Jackson...recorded a 67-yard interception return for a touchdown versus North Springs (55-6 win)...served as team captain of the North squad in the 2016 GACA North-South All-Star Game.
