Biography
2022 — Versatile contributor whose season included action in all 13 games and starts in four early season starts at wide receiver before giving way to Kyndel Dean...credited with 14 receptions for 167 yards...also passed and ran for a touchdown...hauled in a career long 64-yard reception in the season opener against North Greenville (52-0 win)...caught three passes for 34 yards and scored on a two-yard run out of the “Wildcat” set versus VMI (41-3 win)...had two catches for 26 yards and threw a two-yard touchdown pass to All-America tight in a 63-28 romp over Wofford...played a notable role in Furman’s 10-3 season that featured a stretch of seven consecutive wins and an at-large bid to the FCS playoffs, where the Paladins claimed a 31-6 first round home win over Elon...10 wins represented the most by Furman since 2005...team finished a consensus 10th in final AFCA and Stats Perform Polls.
2021 — Returned to the field, appearing in all 11 games...began the season as a reserve quarterback before making the move to wide receiver four games into the campaign...completed a pair of passes for 18 yards and had three rushes for six yards against N.C. State...two weeks later caught two passes for 38 yards against Wofford (42-20 win)...had one catch for 20 yards versus East Tennessee State.
2020 — Did not participate in the season (spring of ‘21).
2019 — Joined the program following a year at Middle Tennessee State...appeared in the first two games, catching one pass for three yards against Charleston Southern (46-13 win)...was sidelined three weeks into the season due to injury...awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility.
2018 — Saw action in 14 games at Middle Tennessee State working at wide receiver and also punter ...caught seven passes for 47 yards, including two grabs versus UTEP (48-32 win)...punted three times versus Charlotte (21-13 win).
High School: 2018 graduate of Northwest Whitfield (4A) High School...football coach was Josh Robinson...named region football and basketball player of the year, as well as region athlete of the year...passed for over 5,000 yards and 52 touchdowns and rushed for 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in two-plus seasons.
