High School: Capable of playing in the infield or as an outfielder, Gunter graduated from Jordan-Matthews High School... A 2023 and 2024 North Carolina Softball Coaches Association All-State choice, she was named 2A West Division Player of the Year as a senior while helping the Jets to a 20-5 record, conference championship, and a trip to the fourth round of the North Carolina state playoffs... Hit .515, hammered four home runs, and drove in 23 runs as a senior... Left-handed hitter played her travel ball for Bandits Elite Premiere.
