DURHAM, N.C. -- Redshirt freshman Josh Brickell placed third with a time of 14:40.25 in the 5,000m to lead the Furman men's track and field team this week at the Duke Twilight Meet at Morris Williams Stadium in Durham, N.C. 

Freshman Austin Sprague led three Paladin runners in the 1,500m, turning in a time of 3:51.29 for 14th place. Senior James Perez was 16th with a time of 3:51.97, while sophomore Nate Riech was 28th after crossing the line in 3:58.07.  

The Furman track and field teams will compete at the Oregon Twilight Meet in Eugene on May 8.
