Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's basketball team begins a three-game conference road trip on Saturday afternoon as it travels to Spartanburg to face the Wofford Terriers at 2 p.m. inside Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.

The Paladins (14-7, 4-2 SoCon) closed out non-conference play on Monday with an 88-24 victory at home over Bob Jones. Furman had all 14 players log at least 10 minutes of playing time in the contest as four finished in double figures scoring. The 24 points scored by Bob Jones set a new Paladin school record for lowest total by an opponent. The previous record of 28 points had been allowed twice in program history.
Tierra Hodges and
Greyson Boone led Furman offensively with 12 points apiece against Bob Jones while
Le'Jzae Davidson and
Celena Taborn both added 10. Taborn recorded a game-high seven rebounds.
Milica Manojlovic dished out six assists to go with three steals.
Grace van Rij pulled down a career-high six rebounds while Boone and
Beatriz Mateo both tallied a career-best four assists.
The Paladins finished the game shooting 49.3 percent from the field and held a 53-23 advantage in rebounding. Furman also forced Bob Jones into 32 turnovers. The Paladins led in points in the paint (42-6), points off turnovers (49-0), second chance points (24-5), fast break points (11-0) and bench points (52-7).
Davidson leads Furman offensively this season averaging 14.7 points per game and is joined in double figures by Hodges (11.7) and
Taylor Petty (10.1). Hodges contributes a team-leading 9.9 rebounds per game. Manojlovic dishes out a team-leading 4.8 assists per game.
Wofford currently sits at 11-10 on the season and 4-2 in conference play following a 66-61 victory at home over UNC Greensboro last Saturday. The Terriers have two players averaging in double figures led by Chloe Wanink with 16.7 points per game. Da'ja Green also averages 13.2 points per game. Defensively, Jamari McDavid leads the team with 6.0 rebounds per game. Wofford is under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jimmy Garrity.
The Paladins are facing the Terriers for the 54
th time in program history and lead the all-time series 44-9.
Furman continues its road trip on Thursday, February 6 at 7 p.m. against Samford.
