GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The 60th-ranked Furman men's tennis team will compete at top-ranked Tennessee on Tuesday. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at Barksdale Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Paladins enter the match at 8-2 after falling to 45th-ranked Old Dominion, 4-0, on Saturday and defeating Richmond, also 4-0, Sunday.
Tennessee is 11-2 and went 3-1 at the ITA Indoor National Championship in Seattle earlier in February. The Vols boast the nation's second-longest active home win streak among Power 5 schools at 29 consecutive home triumphs.
Tuesday's match marks the 15th meeting between the Paladins and the Volunteers. The teams last met in 2008, when Tennessee defeated the Paladins, 4-0, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
