GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's women's basketball team jetted to San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Tuesday in preparation for a pair of games in the Thanksgiving Basketball Clasico Tournament.
The Paladins are scheduled to face Appalachian State on Thursday and Binghamton on Saturday, with tipoff for both games set for 1:30 p.m. ET. Â Links for fee-based streams for both contests are available on Furman's women's basketball schedule page on FurmanPaladins.com.
Appalachian State (2-1), for many years a Furman rival in the Southern Conference before joining the Sun Belt Conference, opened its season with wins over UNCG (71-65) and Ohio (71-64) before falling to Norfolk State (67-53) last Thursday. The Paladins and Mountaineers last met on the hardwood during the 2015-16 season in a game Appalachian State won, 92-78,in Boone, N.C. Â Thursday's clash will mark the 74th meeting between the two schools.
Saturday's Furman-Binghamton game will mark the first meeting between two programs. Â Â

Sydney Ryan in Monday's 96-62 win over Southern Wesleyan, sports a balanced attack led by junior forward
Jada Session (16.6 ppg) and Ryan (14.2 ppg), with junior forward
Kate Johnson (11.0 ppg) and redshirt junior guard
Tate Walters (10.0 ppg) rounding out the Paladins double figure scorers.
Redshirt sophomore guard Niveyah Henley (9.8 ppg) and Walters have both enjoyed solid a solid return to action this year after missing the 2022-23 season with injuries.
