Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team continues its four-game road swing on Sunday when it visits Greenwood Field in Asheville, N.C., for a 12 p.m. kickoff against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs.

The Paladins, 3-1-1 on the season, suffered their first loss of the 2023 season on Thursday night in a 4-1 setback at 11
th-ranked Clemson. The Tigers (4-0-1) raced out to a 4-0 halftime lead before Furman became the first team to score a goal this season versus Clemson when 
Norah Roller found the back off the net off an assist from 
Valentina Mosquera.
 
Furman enters Sunday's match with a 7-2-0 edge in the all-time series versus Asheville. The Paladins claimed a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs in the most recent meeting on August 26, 2021, in Greenville.
 
After dropping a 1-0 decision versus Western Carolina in the season opener, UNC Asheville has fashioned three consecutive 1-0 victories versus VMI, Davidson, and Wofford to start the season with a 3-1-0 record.
 
The Paladins cap their four-game road trip on Sunday, September 10, at South Carolina before returning home to host South Carolina State on September 14.
