Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team will go in search of its third consecutive win on Sunday afternoon when the Paladins host the USC Upstate Spartans in a 2 p.m. kickoff on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium.
 
Sunday's match will be the first half of a men's and women's soccer doubleheader that will also feature the Furman men's team playing host to the Virginia Tech Hokies approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's match. Admission is free for both matches.
 
Furman won its second straight game and improved to 3-4-0 on the season with a 2-1 come-from-behind win over UNC Asheville on Thursday night inside Stone Stadium. Trailing 1-0 after 45 minutes, sophomore Jenny Jacobson leveled the match with a header in the 48^th minute before senior Helen Gutierrez netted the game-winning goal in the 52^nd minute. Thursday's victory came on the heels of a 1-0 win at Georgia Southern last Sunday afternoon.
 
The Spartans come to Greenville with a 3-1-1 record following a 2-2 draw versus the College of Charleston on Wednesday. Furman and USC Upstate have met 11 times on the pitch with the Paladins boasting a 9-1-1 series lead. Last season, Camryn Bolick rallied Furman from a 1-0 deficit with a goal and Addison Corn notched eight saves to help the Paladins forge a 1-1 draw with the Spartans in Spartanburg, S.C.
