GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's golf team is slated to compete at Old Dominion's fifth annual Evie Odom Invitational, Thursday through Saturday at the par 70, 5,824 yard Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va.
The Paladins, who finished as runner-up at the tournament last season, will be joined in the 12-team field by host Old Dominion, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Georgia, James Madison, Maryland, North Florida, Penn State, Richmond, South Alabama, and UNC Greensboro. Individuals from Tennessee will also play in the event.
Furman's lineup for the Evie Odom Invitational includes junior Audrey Ryu, sophomores Eva Ringwald and Jenna Madden, and freshmen Ava Hanneman and Olivia Hasselbach. Sophomore Andrea Marin Raga will compete as an individual.
The 54-hole tournament will begin at 9 a.m. each day with teams teeing off of No. 1 and No. 10. In Thursday's opening round, the Paladins will tee off on No. 1 beginning at 9 a.m. and will play in a group with North Florida and Penn State.

Furman tied for third at the Lady Paladin Invitational last month. Ryu turned in her second top-11 finish of the fall, tying for 11th with scores of 71-72-70=213 to finish at 3-under par. Earlier in the season, she carded rounds of 68-70-71 to finish at 4-under par an tie for seventh at the Cougar Classic.
