Greenville, S.C. – Furman closes out the 2025 women's soccer regular season on Sunday afternoon when it hosts The Citadel on Seagraves Field at Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium.

The Paladins enter the final match of the regular season at 8-3-5 overall and 2-2-4 in Southern Conference play. With 10 points from eight league matches, Furman is in sixth place in the league standings while The Citadel (5-7-3, 2-4-2 SoCon) enters the match in eighth place on eight points. Furman can secure a top six finish and a first-round bye in the SoCon Women's Soccer Championship with a victory on Sunday. A tie could potentially secure a first-round bye depending on the results from other matches.
Sporting an 0-2-3 record during the month of October, the Paladins are looking to end a five-match winless streak. Last time out, Wofford scored in the first half and denied a penalty kick opportunity for Furman in the second half to claim a 1-0 decision in Spartanburg, S.C., on Sunday afternoon.

Katie Bengough each scoring in the victory.
