Friday's game marks the second meeting between Furman and UNI. The Paladins claimed a 64-55 victory over the Panthers in the only previous meeting on December 6, 2003, at West Gymnasium in Cedar Falls, Iowa, behind 18 points from Robby Bostain and 13 from Quan Prowell.

Following Friday's road trip, Furman returns home to host Ohio Christian on Wednesday, November 19, at Timmons Arena. It was also announced this week that the Paladins' home contest versus Queens on Sunday, November 23 will now be a doubleheader.
