Greenville, S.C. – Furman is back in action at Timmons Arena Monday night when the Paladins host NAIA member Columbia International for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off on Ravenel Curry Court.

The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ and fans can also listen to Dan Scott and Tom Van Hoy call the action on The Fan Upstate at 97.7 FM and 1330 AM in Greenville, 97.1 FM and 1490 AM in Spartanburg, and via the Audacy app. Links for the broadcast, live audio, and live statistics are available on the men's basketball schedule page at FurmanPaladins.com.

Furman (0-2) enters Monday's non-conference clash in search of its first win of the season. The Paladins dropped a 64-61 decision to defending Sun Belt Conference champion Troy in the home opener on Friday night. After trailing 36-23 at the break, Furman rallied from a 15-point deficit to tie the game with under four minutes remaining, but the Trojans survived to claim the three-point win. Freshman Alex Wilkins, who leads the Paladins averaging 13.5 points and 5.0 assists per game, led the way with 16 points while redshirt sophomore Eddrin Bronson scored 14.

Columbia International scored wins over Southeastern University and College of Coastal Georgia at home this weekend to improve to 3-2 on the season. Jeffrey Clark II and Will Kelly lead five Rams averaging in double figures by contributing 14.4 points per game apiece over the first five contests.

The Paladins are 2-0 all-time versus the Rams. Furman notched a 90-45 victory in the first meeting between the schools during the 2019-20 campaign before claiming a 104-46 decision over CIU in the season opener last year at Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Guard Tom House led Furman with 21 points in last year's meeting.

Following Monday night's home tilt, Furman travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to face the Northern Iowa Panthers on Friday night before returning to Timmons Arena on November 19 to entertain Ohio Christian.
