Furman Women’s Lacrosse Releases 2026 Schedule

Paladins To Play 17 Games In 2026, 10 At Paladin Stadium

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Second-year Furman head women's lacrosse coach Gail Wallach announced today the schedule for the upcoming 2026 campaign.

The Paladins, who will be competing in their 12th season in program history, are slated to play a total of 17 contests during the 2026 season highlighted by 10 at Paladin Stadium.

Furman won a school record 14 games in 2025 and claimed a share of the Big South Regular Season Championship for the first time in program history. The Paladins return 24 letterwinners from last year's team and seven starters including Big South Freshman of the Year and second team All-Big South Lily Toole along with second team All-Big South pick Skylar Hilmer.

"Our non-conference schedule is an opportunity to develop our offense against programs that are postseason experienced," Wallach said. "Going on the road to open the season at Clemson is a tremendous early season challenge that will help prepare us for Big South play. Additionally, playing 10 home games for our fans to come root on their 'Dins is amazing!"

Furman's 2026 slate also includes eight conference matchups with four taking place in Greenville.

The Paladins open the season on February 10 making the short trip over to Clemson to face the Tigers for the third time in four seasons. Furman then starts its home slate on February 20 hosting Austin Peay before closing out the month at Queens (N.C.) on February 25.

The month of March sees the Paladins play six of their eight contests at Paladin Stadium. Furman is slated for home games versus Campbell (March 2), St. Bonaventure (March 4), UMass Lowell (March 12), Quinnipiac (March 15), Manhattan (March 17), and Radford (March 28). The Paladins travel to Old Dominion on March 6 before opening Big South play at Presbyterian on March 25.

Furman is slated for six Big South games throughout the month of April, with three coming at home and three on the road. The Paladins host Wofford on April 1 before traveling to Longwood on April 4. Furman closes out its home schedule versus Mercer on April 8 and High Point on April 11. The final two games of the regular season see the Paladins head to Winthrop on April 18 and Gardner-Webb on April 25.

The first round of the Big South Women's Lacrosse Championship is scheduled for April 28. The semifinals and finals are slated for May 1 and May 3 at the league's No. 1 seed.
