GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman women's lacrosse team is set for its first Big South road games of the season this week traveling to Wofford on Wednesday and High Point on Friday.
The Paladins get the week started on Wednesday evening with a 6 p.m. opening draw against Wofford at Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg. Furman then heads to High Point, N.C., on Friday where it will take on the Panthers at 7 p.m. from Vert Stadium.

The Paladins (7-2, 1-0 Big South) opened league play last Wednesday with a 15-5 victory over Gardner-Webb at Paladin Stadium. Furman improved to 4-0 in Big South openers since joining the conference in 2022. The Paladins outshot Gardner-Webb 31-13 and held a 19-14 advantage in ground balls and 16-7 in draws. Furman forced the Runnin' Bulldogs into 16 turnovers.
Paige Harman, who also became the ninth player in program history to reach 100 career goals, guided the Paladin offense with career highs of eight points and five goals while adding three assists.
Anna Roser totaled five points on three goals and two assists, and
Sofija Buzelis added four goals and nine draws.
Lily Toole scored twice to go with an assist.
Audrey Smith tied her career high of three ground balls and
Skylar Hilmer and
Andrea Fisher both caused two turnovers.
Goalie
Sailor Henderson came off the bench to earn the win after finishing with five saves and one ground ball.
Wofford currently sits at 3-7 overall and 0-1 in the Big South while High Point is 6-4 on the year and 2-0 in conference play.
Furman owns a 7-0 advantage over Wofford in the all-time series but trails High Point by a 5-1 margin.
The Paladins are off until Saturday, April 12 when they return to Paladin Stadium to host Longwood at 2 p.m.
