GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman women's golf head coach Jeff Hull released the team's 2025-26 schedule today.
"We have a great schedule this year," stated Hull, the reigning SoCon Coach of the Year. "The fall is very similar to years past, but in the spring we have added Daniel Island and North Florida to the schedule. It's always great to start the fall at Yeamans Hall and the spring in Puerto Rico."Â
Again this fall, the Paladins open the season at the Cougar Classic, which will be held Sept. 8-9 at Yeaman's Hall in Charleston, S.C., then return home to entertain 15 teams at the Lady Paladin Invitational from Sept. 19-21 at the Furman University Golf Course in Greenville.Â
"This is the 51st year of the Lady Paladin, and we are excited to have Furman Hall of Fame coach Mic Potter and Alabama in the field," said Hull.
In October, Furman will travel to Virginia Beach, Va., Oct. 16-18, for Old Dominion's Evie Odom Invitational, where the Paladins finished as runner-up last season, then the team concludes the fall season at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C., Oct. 24-26.
After a break for the holidays, the Paladins will start their spring season for the third-consecutive year at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande from Feb. 1-3, and Furman will finish out February's play at the Momentum Transportation UNF College in Jacksonville, Fla., Feb. 23-24.
The Paladins will travel back to Charleston, March 2-3, for the Daniel Island Invitational, and Furman will again compete at the Valspar Augusta Invitational, March 14-15, in Augusta, Ga.
Furman will team up with North Florida to co-host the second annual Coach Mo Classic, in honor of Paladin women's golf alum, Mo Gesualdi, March 30-31 at St. John's Golf and Country Club in St. Augustine, Fla. Seventeen teams will compete in this year's event. "Last year's tournament was very successful," said Hull. "Geasualdi is a teaching professional there, and she has an amazing story and is a tremendous teacher, junior golf leader, and fan of Furman, so we are excited to continue this event in her honor."
The Paladins, the defending Southern Conference champions and winners of the eight of the last 10 league titles, will compete for the SoCon Championship April 20-22 at Columbia Country Club in Blythewood, S.C.
The NCAA Regional Championships are slated for May 11-13 at six campus sites, and the NCAA Championships will be held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., May 22-27.
