State (+16 - 16th), plus various other teams.

"This was a great start to not only this year but the next two years," said Furman head coach Jeff Hull at the conclusion of Monday's play.  "We are very young and talented with our entire team returning next year.  Our players had great attitudes all day, showed lots of fight, and played some great golf.  We left some out there, so I'm hoping we can do even better tomorrow."

The 54-hole tournament concludes Tuesday with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.  The Paladins will tee off on No. 9 through No. 11 and will play in a group with Auburn and Penn State.  Admission is free and fans are welcome.  Live results will be available at https://scoreboard.clippd.com/tournaments/238722/scoring/team.
