Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team wraps up regular season play Saturday night when it hosts instate rival Wofford on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium in a match that will determine the Southern Conference regular season champion and seeding for the upcoming SoCon Men's Soccer Championship.
Kickoff between the Paladins and Terriers is set for 7 p.m. and admission to Stone Stadium is free. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+. Links for the live stream and live statistics are available on the men's soccer schedule page at FurmanPaladins.com.
Wofford, 8-3-4 overall and 3-0-2 in the SoCon, can capture the outright SoCon regular season crown with a victory over the Paladins and earn at least a share of the title with a draw. Furman, 6-3-6 overall and 2-1-2 in the conference, secures a top-two seed and bye for the opening round of the SoCon Tournament with a win over the Terriers and would also claim a share of the regular season championship with a victory and a draw on Saturday between ETSU and UNCG.
The Paladins are coming off a 1-1 tie at UNCG on Tuesday evening.
Grayson Travis put the Paladins in front in the first half before the Spartans leveled the match at the penalty spot less than 10 minutes into the second half. Wofford also played to a 1-1 draw versus UNCG in its most recent match on Saturday, October 24.
Furman holds a 45-16-2 lead in the all-time series versus the Terriers and claimed a pair of victories over its I-85 rival last season. The Paladins downed Wofford, 2-0, in the 2025 regular season finale before eliminating the Terriers from the SoCon Tournament with a 4-2 decision just eight days later.
