GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman volleyball team wraps up its three-match Southern Conference road trip this weekend traveling to Cullowhee, N.C., for a pair of matches against the Western Carolina Catamounts at the Ramsey Center.
The Paladins and Catamounts get their series underway Friday at 6 p.m. before returning to the court Saturday for a 4 p.m. first serve.

The Paladins (8-8, 2-3 SoCon) opened their road trip on Tuesday dropping a 3-1 decision at The Citadel. Furman concluded the contest hitting .223 as a team and held a 60-51 advantage in kills, 55-44 in assists, and 88-82 in digs.
Izzy Castelloe led all players with a match high 16 kills while
Lauren Haynes turned in her first double-double of the season on 14 kills and 21 digs.
Morgan Baldridge,
Emily Navarro, and
Kennedy Seekford all totaled double-doubles in the match. Baldridge picked up her first career double-double on 20 assists and 12 digs, Seekford her first of the year on 24 digs and 10 assists, and Navarro her team leading 10
th this season with 22 assists and 10 digs.
Ashtan Dodson contributed 13 digs.
Western Carolina currently sits at 5-13 on the season and 1-4 in SoCon play, coming off a 3-0 loss at Wofford on Tuesday. The Catamounts are under the direction of 16
th-year head coach Karen Glover.
The Paladins have previously faced Western Carolina 90 times in program history with Furman holding a 53-37 advantage in the all-time series.
The Paladins return to Timmons Arena next weekend, October 16-17, hosting Mercer on Alumni Weekend.
