GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman's women's basketball team will wrap up the 2025-26 regular season on Saturday when it plays host to Wofford in a 2:00 p.m. Southern Conference battle at Timmons Arena.
The game will be live streamed via ESPN+ and also broadcast over the SCETV HD with Dave Friedman and Furman and SoCon Hall of Famer Rushia Brown on the call.

Furman (16-12, 8-5 SoCon) heads into Saturday's contest looking to halt a two-game skid and secure some needed momentum heading into SoCon Tournament play, which gets underway next Thursday at Asheville's Harrah's Cherokee Center. The Paladins will take the No. 4 seed into tournament action and will face the No. 5 seed, either Mercer or Samford, at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Wofford (16-11, 10-3 SoCon) comes to Greenville riding a league best five-game winning streak and tied for first place in the standings with Chattanooga, which plays at Mercer on Saturday.
Furman claimed a dramatic 65-64 win over Wofford on Jan. 30 in Spartanburg, achieved when
Alyssa Ervin collected a sideline inbounds lob pass from
Chantelle Stuart and converted a shot from in front of the basket with 0.6 seconds remaining on the clock. Ervin scored a game high 21 points, and
Clare Coyle added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the contest, which saw the Paladins twice erase seven-point deficits in the fourth quarter.
Although Furman sports a commanding 51-18 lead in its series with Wofford and is 31-2 all-time versus The Terriers in Greenville, including last year's 93-88 double overtime win that was played at BSW Arena, the two Upstate rivals have split the last four meetings in Greenville.
Turnovers, which were a problem earlier this season, returned to plague the Paladins in the last two games. as Furman suffered 23 miscues in 68-58 loss to Samford and 22 turnovers in an 80-63 setback to Mercer. In the nine games (7-2) prior to the current two-game skid, Furman averaged 16.6 turnovers/game.
The Paladins' mainstay in the lineup this year has been 6-foot-1 sophomore forward
Clare Coyle, a two-time SoCon Player of the Week pick who leads the league in field goal percentage (.536), rebounding (9.3), and double-doubles (10), and ranks third in scoring (14.8) and steals (2.07), and fourth in blocks (1.39). An All-Freshman Team pick a year ago, she has been forced to compete for much of league schedule with little true frontline help after starting 6-foot-4 forward
Kyraha Parnell missed seven league games due to injury, and 6-foot-3 backup
Channing Warren was lost for the season, also to injury.
Alyssa Ervin (13.3 ppg) has been a significant addition to the program this year after spending her freshman year at Elon. In addition to her last second game winning shot at Wofford, she also delivered game winning baskets in a 72-70 win at ETSU and in a 63-61 road victory over UNCG.
The Paladins suffered a notable loss in the aforementioned UNCG game when starting junior guard
Lauren Bailey, a transfer from Gardner-Webb and the squad's top 3-point shooter this year (.373), sustained a season ending knee injury. In the five games prior to her injury Bailey had converted 16-of-33 treys (.485).
Freshman
Sophia Pearl moved into the starting lineup for Bailey against Samford and tallied as season high 15 points (3x7 3PFGs).
