Softball Welcomes Bucknell For Wednesday Doubleheader At Pepsi Stadium

First Pitch Set For 3 P.M.

Greenville, S.C. – Furman softball returns to Pepsi Stadium on Wednesday when it hosts the Bucknell Bison in a 3 p.m. doubleheader.

Wednesday's twinbill will be streamed live on ESPN+ and live statistics will be available for both games via StatBroadcast. Links for the stream and live stats are available at FurmanPaladins.com.

The Paladins (3-20) picked up a 5-1 victory over Queens in their last outing on Saturday evening at the Mountaineer Classic in Boone, N.C. Sophomore Lily O'Bryan tossed a two-hit, complete-game to earn the victory. Four different Paladins drove in runs in the win, including a solo homer from freshman Kristyn Embler.

Bucknell, a member of the Patriot League, is 1-17 on the season following a 9-6 loss at Winthrop on Sunday in Rock Hill, S.C. The Bison are scheduled to face Gardner-Webb in a Tuesday doubleheader in Boiling Springs, N.C., before traveling to Greenville on Wednesday.

The doubleheader will mark the first meetings between Furman and Bucknell on the softball diamond.
