CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Furman senior Zach Frazer (+4) tied for 38th to lead the Paladins Sunday in the final round of the Tar Heel Intercollegiate, which was held at the par 70, 7,020 yard Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Frazer, who hails from Coppell, Texas, posted a 77 with a birdie on No. 8 in Sunday's round.  Senior Harris Barth (+5) shot even par with three birdies to tie for 43rd, while senior Clark Akers (+6) notched a 71 with a team-high four birdies to tie for 49th.  

Sophomore Ludvig Josefsson (+18) carded a 77 with a birdie on No. 10, tying for 80th, while sophomore Walter Anderson (+22) finished with a 78 with a birdie on No. 17 to tie for 86th. 

Naill Sheils Donegan (-12) of North Carolina, who ranks 25th nationally, won the individual championship by two strokes with rounds of 64-67-67=198.

Host North Carolina (-32), which ranks 11th, won the tournament by 20 strokes over second-place Duke (-12), which ranks 27th.  The Tar Heel B team (-11) finished third, followed by 29th-ranked Texas A&M (-8) in fourth.  Nebraska (-2) and No. 42 UNC Wilmington (-2) tied for fifth.  The Paladins (+33) finished 15th.  The tournament field featured seven Power 4 teams and five teams ranked among the nation's top 42.

Also on Sunday, sophomore David Oliver IV and freshman Benton Manly began competition as individuals at the Wofford Invitational, which is being held at the par 72, 6,434 Country Club of Spartanburg.  Oliver is tied for 49th after recording a 74 with four birdies, while Manly is tied for 62nd after carding a 75 with birdies on No. 1 and No. 17.  The Paladin duo will tee off No. 1 at 8:30 a.m. in Monday's second round.  

Following the conclusion of Oliver and Manly's play at Wofford, the Paladins will compete at the Southern Conference Championship April 27-29 in Columbia, S.C.
