GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's Annie Miller has been selected as the Southern Conference women's outdoor track and field athlete of the week, the conference office announced Wednesday.
A freshman from Matthews, N.C., Miller won the 3,000m Steeplechase Friday at the Duke Invitational at Morris Williams Stadium in Durham, N.C. Her time of 10:13.12 leads the SoCon, ranks seventh in the NCAA East, and places her 20th nationally.
The Paladins will compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational on April 17 in Azusa, Calif.
