Greenville, S.C. – The Furman softball team concludes its non-conference schedule on Wednesday night when it travels to Atlanta, Ga., to face the ACC's Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in a single game at Newborn Field.

Furman (11-35, 3-12 SoCon) is looking to bounce back after suffering a three-game sweep at the hands of Southern Conference rival Samford this past weekend at Pepsi Stadium. The Bulldogs halted Furman's run of six wins in its previous eight games by holding the Paladins to a single run in three straight games and recording a pair of mercy rule victories.
Georgia Tech comes into Wednesday's meeting at 29-23 overall and 10-11 in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets hold a 26-18 lead in the all-time series versus Furman and claimed a 5-0 victory in the most recent encounter between the schools on February 22, 2022, in Atlanta.
Follow its midweek bout against the Yellow Jackets, Furman returns home to host Wofford in the final home series of the 2026 season this coming weekend with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. on Saturday and single game on Sunday at 1 p.m. Saturday will be Senior Day at Pepsi Stadium and
