Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team returns home to host the Bob Jones Bruins and UNC Asheville Bulldogs on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium this weekend.
Furman and Bob Jones are scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff Friday as the Paladins celebrate Freshmen Frenzy Night at Stone Stadium. On Sunday, the Paladins welcome UNCA to Stone Stadium for a 2 p.m. kickoff. Live statistics will be available for both matches while Sunday's tilt will be streamed live on ESPN+. The Paladins are looking to bounce back after suffering a 4-0 defeat at South Carolina this past Sunday. The Gamecocks netted all four of their goals in the first half, including three directly off corner kicks, to drop Furman to 1-2-0 on the season.
Friday's match marks the third meeting between Furman and Bob Jones with the Paladins holding a 2-0-0 series lead.
Jaleah Simmons netted the match-winning score in last season's meeting against the Bruins while
Norah Roller provided a goal and an assist.
Sunday's match will be the 13
th between the Paladins and Bulldogs. Furman claimed a 3-0 decision in Asheville, N.C., in the last meeting on September 11, 2025, to improve to 9-3-0 in the series.
Maddie Massie netted the winning goal for Furman and
Reese DeJong stopped one shot to earn the shutout.
Admission is free to all regular season men's and women's soccer matches at Stone Stadium.
