Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team goes for its fourth consecutive victory on Sunday when the Paladins visit CSU Soccer Field to face the Charleston Southern Buccaneers.

Furman (4-2-0) claimed its third straight win and third consecutive shutout with a 1-0 triumph over Presbyterian on Thursday night at Stone Soccer Stadium. Freshman Kate Kuzemka tallied her first collegiate goal on a header off Sierra Davis' corner kick in the 78^th minute to break the deadlock and junior Reese DeJong stopped five shots to earn the shutout in goal.
 
Sunday's road trip marks the eighth all-time meeting between the Paladins and Bucs with Furman holding a 5-2-0 series lead. Last season, Furman claimed a 2-0 win over Charleston Southern in Greenville on a pair of second-half goals from Emma Sexton. The win followed a 3-2 triumph over the Bucs in Charleston during the 2024 season. 
 
Charleston Southern stands at 1-3-0 on the year following a 5-0 defeat at Campbell on Thursday.
